THE CONCEPT OF A SOLAR-POWERED ROBOTIC VEHICLE FOR DELIVERING GOODS TO AN EMERGENCY AREA
The article discusses the concept of an autonomous robotic vehicle powered by solar cells, designed to deliver a payload to an emergency zone along a predetermined route. The relevance of the work is due to the growing frequency of natural and man-made disasters, which places increased demands on the efficiency and safety of logistics operations. The use of such robotic technologies makes it possible to minimize the risks to the lives of rescuers and victims, ensuring the delivery of the necessary payload to remote or dangerous areas. The key requirements for the platform are formulated: ensuring long-term energy autonomy, the ability to overcome rough terrain and accurately following a given trajectory. A detailed modular architecture of a robotic vehicle is presented, including energy, drive-propulsion, navigationcontrol, cargo and communication subsystems, with an emphasis on the integration of solar panels and a battery pack forming a hybrid energy system. As part of the study, a mathematical model of an energy management system is proposed that dynamically distributes the power generated by photovoltaic modules between traction electric drives, on-board electronics and battery charge. Based on this model, the optimal control task is formulated, the purpose of which is to minimize the total energy consumption for the task while observing strict limits on the minimum allowable battery charge level, which guarantees trouble-free operation in conditions of variable solar insolation. The solution to this problem is aimed at maximizing the operational performance and
reliability of the robotic vehicle.
